This is where I will post the following:

I welcome assistance, I just ask the information is accurate.  Please provide any details if possible.

Greenwich: The Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol has purchased a Ford F-550 with a utility style body which will be assigned to Utility 2.  The truck has been delivered but not sure if it has gone in service yet. 

Branford: Stony Creek just placed into service a Ford F-550 XL with a Reading Body as Rescue 5.  The town also has on order a new ambulance. 

North Stonington: An E-One Pumper has been delivered to replace the Mack / E-One pumper. 

Stratford:  Stratford is moving forward with the purchase of two Smeal pumpers that are demos.  Delivery is expected within a few weeks.   

Norwich: Norwich Fire has on order a Pierce Aerial which will become the frontline ladder, the current frontline will become a reserve and the reserve Seagrave ladder will be taken out of service. 

Stratford: Stratford EMS has taken delivery of a 2009 Ford E-350 AEV Type II (Van Style) Ambulance which will be assigned to 806. 

Brookfield: The Candlewood Fire Department in Brookfield has on order a Crimson on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis. 

Simsbury: The Simsbury Fire Department is currently doing an extensive upgrade and overhaul to their fire headquarters facility on Hopmeadow Road. 

New London: New London Fire has on order two ambulances that will be on a Dodge Chassis to replace the 2008 ambulances they've had some issues with.  Also, the Seagrave Tiller is back on duty.  Last but not least, A-11, the KME engine at fire headquarters will be replaced with a Rosenbauer pumper on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis which is on order and should be delivered in the summer of 2010.  They will also be purchasing some new administrative vehicles.

West Haven:  The Center Fire District has puchased West Shore's former Engine 31 Pierce pumper.  It is uncertain which company will get the engine. 

Litchfield:  A Pierce Velocity Engine is on order for the Litchfield Fire Department which will be assigned to Engine 2 and be delivered in the late spring or early summer of 2010. 

New Hartford: The New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance have taken delivery of a 2009 Lifeline Ambulance of a Ford E-450 Chassis which will replace the current NH2 ambulance.  It should go into service soon. 

New Hartford: The Southend Volunteer Fire Department recently placed into service a KME Heavy Rescue.

Barkhamsted: The Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a new Rescue Truck. 

Torrington:  The Drakeville Volunteer Fire Department has officially been approved to purchase a 3,000 Gallon Tanker Truck and an early 2011 delivery date is hopeful.  The department is also in the works of building an addition to their station to house the new apparatus.   

Windsor: The Wilson Fire Station in Windsor should be taking delivery of a Ferrara Custom 500/1250 GPM Rescue Pumper before the end of the year. 

Ansonia: Webster Hose recently placed into service a black over red Pierce Arrow XT pumper 500/1250 GPM as Engine 3.  The former Engine 3, a green 1989 FMC has been donated to Lee, Maine along with hose donated by New Haven Fire.  Lee, Maine picked up their new apparatus on Saturday 11/21/09.  FYI, one of Nichols old pumpers in Trumbull also serves the Lee, Maine Fire Department.

Woodbury: Gowens Knight is currently building a new pumper for Woodbury.  It will be on a Spartan Metro Star Chassis have 900 gallons of water and 1500 GPM.  The apparatus will be assigned to Engine 5, which will replace Engine 2 and be housed at the Hotchkissville Fire Station. 

Woodbury: The Woodbury Fire Department will be taking delivery of a new 2010 Ford F-250 Crew Cab as their command vehicle.  The new vehicle is due before the end of the year.

Trumbull: Trumbull Ambulance has recently taken delivery of two new ambulances. 

Trumbull: Trumbull Center Rescue 100, a 2009 Crimson on a Spartan Chassis (Rescue One custom mounts in cabinets) with 600 Gallons of Water is now in service at Fire Station #1.

Deep River: The Deep River Fire Department raised funds to purchase a tanker from the Durham, CT Fire Department.  The truck is currently being prepared for service and is housed at the ambulance station in the extra bay.  It is expected to go into service sometime in December at the Winthrop Fire Station and will replace Engine 1.  The apparatus will be repainted next spring. 

Deep River: Rescue 5-9 is a 2009 Crimson on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis with a generator, light tower, extrication equipment, and a hoper for speedy dry.  This apparatus replaces a 1979 Ford / Saulsbury which is currently for sale. 

New Haven: The City of New Haven is expected to take delivery of Emergency Unit #2 on Thursday 10/22/09 which is a Freighliner Chassis (New Cab & Chassis) on a demo/used body.  It should go on duty in about a month.  The current Emergency 2 will become a spare.

New Haven: I posted incorrect information about Truck Co. 3.  I posted Seagrave, when in fact Pierce is building a 100' rear mount aerial on a Pierce Arrow XT Chassis.  I would expect delivery in the springtime of 2010.  This will be assigned to Truck Co. 3 on Lombard Street.

Derby: The Hotchkiss Hose Co. 1 took delivery of a new pumper assigned to Engine 14 on Tuesday 10/13/09.  It is a Rosenbauer on a Spartan Chassis.  The Pierce that was assigned to Engine 14 has been traded in.

Roxbury: A Marion Pumper is on order for the Roxbury Fire Department. 

Middlebury:  Engine-3 has been assigned a 2009 Ferrara Inferno which is now in service. 

Beacon Falls:  Beacon Hose Co. 1 now has a second firehouse in town on Railroad Avenue.  It is a two bay building that is currently being rennovated and rumor has it in the end it will be three bays, have a meeting room and storage.  Brush-1, Engine-5 & Engine-1, the departments antique Seagrave will be assigned to this firehouse.  

Beacon Falls:  Federal Stimulus Money assisted Beacon Hose Co. 1 in purchasing Engine 5, a Chevy Kodiak Series with a custom built body. 

Hartford: The City of Hartford has taken delivery of and will be placing into service a Sutphen pumper which I understand planned to go into service at Engine Co. 10. 

Norwalk: Norwalk has taken delivery of a Marion on a Spartan Chassis Heavy Rescue which will be assigned to Rescue Co. 2.  They have also taken delivery of a new Car-2, assigned to the deputy chief.  Once complete and outfitted, both apparatus will go on duty at the Connecticut Avenue firehouse.  Also, due within the next month or two is a Marion Pumper on a Spartan Chassis which will be assigned to Engine Co. 2.  

Wethersfield: A 2009 Sutphen mid mount aerial was recently placed into service. 

Woodbury: Gowens Knight is currently building a new engine for Woodbury which will be on a Spartan Chassis.  I believe the truck will be delivered in late 2009 or early 2010. 

Ledyard: The Gales Ferry Fire Company will be taking delivery of a 2009 Ferrara pumper while Ledyard Ambulance will be taking delivery of a new ambulance in the next month or two. 

Stamford: Glenbrook Volunteer Fire took delivery of a 2009 HME Ahrens Fox pumper.  The city will be taking delivery of a few more new trucks before the end of the year. 

Wallingford: The Town of Wallingford has purchased land to build a new North Farms Fire Station Co. 7.  They're outgrowing the current three bay firehouse and the new firehouse will have additional space for a staffed ambulance and reserve ladder truck.  Not sure if there is a timeframe when a new firehouse will be built. 

Stratford: Stratford EMS, which is currently housed with the police department, will move into the former Fire Headquarters Building on Main Street next to the newer fire headquarters facility.  Construction is set to begin to modify and remodel the existing three bay, two story brick building and should be completed sometime in the Summer of 2010. 

Branford: Branford has taken delivery of a 2009 Smeal Rear Mount Aerial to replace their Mid Mount Sutphen. 

Litchfield: Northfield has either taken delivery of or will be taking delivery of a 2008 Rosenbauer On An International Chassis As A Brush Vehicle.  It is a Demo that was supposed to be delivered just after the convention. 

Weston: Weston Fire Lyons Plain Fire Station is coming along nicely and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.  It will be a modern two story, three bay firehouse.  They also have on order a Pierce Velocity Engine, very much like Engine-3, which will be assigned to Engine-4 replacing the E-One.  Also, Weston has two new ambulances on order which should be in service by the end of the year.

Ridgefield: The Ridgefield Fire Department currently has on order a new Car-3 for the Volunteer Fire Chief, which is a Ford Expedition, and his current 2005 Dodge Ram Crew Cab will be getting a cap on it and will be used by the Fire Police.

Hamden: Fire Station #4 located on Whitney Ave at Dixwell Ave (the town hall firehouse) is undergoing extensive renovations which will require companies to vacate the facility.  From what I understand Rescue #1 will be housed on Whitney Ave at the Mount Carmel Station while Squad Co. 1 will be stationed at Ridge Road.  

Trumbull:  Trumbull Center has taken delivery of a 2009 Crimson on a Spartan Chassis Heavy Rescue.   

Bolton: The Bolton Fire Department recently placed into service a 2009 Chevy Suburban as Service 134 in service.

East Hartford: East Hartford has placed into service a new deputy chief vehicle, Car-3, which is a 2009 Chevy Suburban.  They also placed into service earlier this year a Seagrave Mid Mount Aerial assigned to Ladder Co. 1 and a new fire boat.

Shelton: Echo Hose Ambulance will be taking delivery of a brand new van style ambulance in the coming weeks with the same color scheme as the fleet of equipment currently in service. 

Milford: Milford's Battalion Chief has been assigned a 2009 Ford Excursion which is designated as Car-4. 

Berlin: Engine-10's new white Pierce Saber which replaced Tac-11 is in service. 

Berlin:  South Kensington has a new Rosenbauer pumper on order due in by the end of this year. 

New Britian:  Ladder-2 & Engine-5 were both delivered earlier this year.  Engine-5 is a 2009 E-One Typhoon engine. 

Wallingford: The Wallingford Fire Department recently placed into service two Crimson engines on Spartan Gladiator Chassis pumpers assigned to Engine-2 and Engine-7.  The former Engine-2 will become Engine-8 and the former Engine-7 will be the town spare. 

East Lyme (Flanders): The Flanders Fire Department recently took delivery of a 2009 Ferrara Heavy Rescue. 

Montville: The Chesterfield Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2009 Ferrara Pumper on an HME Chassis assigned to Engine-31.  It was delivered on Friday 9/4/09. 

Essex: Essex Fire has purchased a 1994 Sutphen Mid Mount Aerial Truck from Florida and will go under some minor work before coming to Essex.  Also, Essex Ambulance has taken delivery of a sharp looking 2009 Dodge / AEV ambulance.  Essex Ambulance is also remodeling their current Dennison Road station and the majority of the work is expected to be done by the start of November.  It will give the members more living space, additional bay and be modernized.  In the meantime, a local resident has a storage facility where the ambulances will operate from when the structure is being remodeled.  With the exception of a historic section of the building, the entire facility will be rebuilt. 

Colchester: Marion Fire Apparatus has been awarded the new pumper for the Hayward Fire Station on Route 149.  The American LaFrance engine will become a reserve and the new truck will be completed in about a year.  Colchester will also be ordering a new ambulance. 

Essex:  The town is looking to purchase a 1994 Sutphen Mid Mount aerial from Palm Beach, Florida and sell the current 1977 Maxim Ladder purchased from Mystic Fire. 

Old Lyme: The departments first-ever aerial is currently in production and will be a Ferrara Igniter / Custom 77' Rear Mount Ladder 470/30 Foam/1500 GPM. 

Beacon Falls: Beacon Hose Co. 1 recently took delivery of Engine 5 which was purchased with grant money.  I hope to get further specs in the next few weeks. 

Enfield: The Thompsonville Fire Department has recently taken delivery of a Sutphen 75' Mid Mount 500/1500 GPM Ladder Truck.  

Norwich: East Great Plain has on order a new SVI on a Spartan Chassis on order with delivery expected at the end of the year or start of next year which will replace the ranger heavy rescue.

Sprague: The Baltic Fire Company is expecting delivery of their new tanker on 8/10/09.  It is a 2009 US Tanker on a Spartan Chassis 3,000 Gallon Tanker / 1500 GPM which will be assigned to Tanker 124 and is replacing ET-324.

West Haven:  North End Hose Company of West Haven has purchased an ambulance and are converting it into a canteen vehicle for the explorers to operate on fire scenes.  

Winsted: Winsted Fire has placed into service a new pumper within the last few months but I do not have the specifications on this apparatus. 

Cornwall: The Cornwall Fire Department placed a new engine into service within the last few months.  At this time, I do not have the specifications.

Haddam:  The Haddam Fire Department took delivery of a new boat on the morning of July 25, 2009.  It will likely go in service later this year once the appropriate equipment and lettering is completed. 

Falls Village (Canaan):  2009 Spartan Metro Star Chassis on a Gowens Knight Body

Norfolk: The Norfolk Fire Department's 2009 Seagrave pumper was delivered on Thursday July 16, 2009.  It will go in service within the next few weeks.  They're having a wetdown for the truck Saturday July 25, 2009 from 1-3pm.  Will post more info under events.  

Litchfield: Bantam Fire Company is expecting delivery of their Crimson engine on a Spartan Chassis within the next two weeks.  The Northfield Fire Department will be taking delivery of a Rosenbauer / International Brush Truck in September.

Moosup: Pierce is finishing up a 3,000 Gallon Tanker for the Moosup Fire Department which should be ready for delivery in the coming weeks. 

Groton: The City of Groton Fire Department has recently signed the contract with Pierce for an aerial device as well as a pumper.  One of the trucks is being funded by a grant. 

Trumbull: Long Hill Fire Department in Trumbull has signed a contract for a new Rescue 200 which will be a Marion on a Spartan Chassis. 

New Canaan: New Canaan Ambulance recently moved into their new facility.

Shelton: The White Hills Fire Department is refirbishing their tanker involved in a MVA.  It is currently at Firematic and will eventually go to Kenworth for a new chassis.  Once the chassis is complete it will return to firematic to complete all body work.  The truck should look much like it did and the refirbishment should take approximately four months to complete. 

Old Saybrook: The Old Saybrook Fire Department has a new fire boat on order which should be in sometime around November. 

Waterbury: Waterbury Fire has awarded Gowens Knight to build them a new engine.  I am unsure which company the apparatus will be assigned to just that it will be a Spartan Chassis on a Gowens Knight body.  This will be the first Gowens Knight for Waterbury. 

Blue Hills: The Blue Hills Fire Department should be taking delivery of a new Pierce Rescue Pumper this summer. 

Ansonia: Ansonia should be taking delivery of their Pierce engine (Engine 3) in the coming weeks. 

Berlin: Berlin has taken delivery (or is about to take delivery) of a new Pierce engine. 

East Haven: East Haven Fire has purchased a mini pumper from a California fire department.  It should be delivered and in service later this summer. 

Montville: The Mohegan Fire Dept placed into service an ambulance and brush truck earlier this year.   

New Fairfield: The Squantz Fire Dept in New Fairfield has a Gowens Knight pumper on order with delivery expected in the middle of July. 

Newtown: Newtown has passed a budget that includes the purchase of two new pumpers with one going to Dodgingtown and the other going to Sandy Hook. 

Milford: Milford's new canteen truck has arrived.  It has to go out and be lettered and prepared for service but will be at the Chief's show in Mass. next week. 

Litchfield: The Bantam Fire Company has parted with their 1979 Oren which went to Vermont and are expecting delivery on a new Crimson engine on a Spartan Chassis.  Delivery should happen in the coming weeks.  Also, Northfield is building a five bay station about 1 mile from their current fire station.  Northfield is supposed to take delivery of a new brush truck later this year. 

Westport: The Westport Fire Department has been approved to purchase a new KME engine as well as refirbishing their Sutphen aerial truck.

Ledyard: The Gales Ferry Fire Dept. in Ledyard will be taking delivery of a Ferrara engine later this year (estimated September/October) to replace Engine-21. 

Westbrook: The Westbrook Ambulance Association is adding an addition to their headquarters building on the Boston Post Road. 

Glastonbury: The Glastonbury Fire Department has taken delivery of a new pumper for company two which will be assigned to Engine-22. 

North Stonington: The North Stonington Fire Department has an E-One Cyclone identical to Engine-2 on order with delivery late this year.  It will replace H11. 

Groton:  The Groton Sub Base Fire Department should be taking delivery of two new Pierce apparatus later this year.  One will be a Pierce engine while the other truck will be a Pierce rear-mount aerial. 

Orange: The Orange Volunteer Fire Department has a heavy rescue pumper on order.  It is a Rosenbauer Heavy Rescue Body on a Spartan Chassis.  Delivery is expected later this year.  Engine 31 & Utility 36 will be sold in place of the new apparatus.

Waterbury: As of July 1, 2009 Waterbury Firefighters will become first responders. 

Norfolk: Norfolk Fire has a new Seagrave on order which should be in within the coming weeks. 

New Hartford: New Hartford has a new ambulance on order. 

Canton: Canton has taken delivery of a new ambulance. 

Litchfield: Litchfield has taken delivery of a new ambulance. 

Harwinton:  Harwinton Ambulance has taken delivery of a new ambulance earlier this year. 

Burlington:  The Burlington Fire Department has recently taken delivery of two quads for brush fires and off-road incidents.  Both are stationed at headquarters.  One is a 2007 and the other is a 2008 Honda.

Burlington: The Burlington Fire Department has a new ambulance on order and is expected to be delivered in early June.  It will go in service sometime in July.

Middlebury: The Middlebury Fire Department has a Ferrara engine on order.  Delivery of the apparatus is expected in June of 2009.  They also took delivery of a 2008 PL Custom Ambulance on a Ford E-450 Chassis this year.

Norwalk: Norwalk fire is getting prepared to take delivery of a new heavy rescue in the coming weeks. 

Roxbury: Roxbury has taken delivery and placed into service an ambulance.  It is a 2009 PL Custom on a Ford E-450 Chassis.

Guilford:  The Town of Guilford has passed a budget that will include funds for a new pumper truck that will be assigned to headquarters.  It will replace 1-5-3 mid 1980's Pierce Dash that was previously assigned to the Eagle Hose Company.

Colchester:  The Town of Colchester has passed a budget that will include funds for a new pumper truck for the fire department. 

New Milford: Company A in New Fairfield has just taken delivery of a new Pierce tanker and a new Pierce engine. 

Old Lyme: The Old Lyme Fire Department is currently building a new first-ever aerial truck. 

Salem: The Salem Fire Department placed into service a 2009 Ferrara Inferno Rear Mount Ladder designated Ladder 121.  

Waterford:  The Cohanzie Fire Department in Waterford took delivery of two new vehicles.  W-53 is a 2009 Ford F-550 Brush Truck.  They also put in service on 5/26 W-500, a 2009 Lifeline Ambulance on a Ford Chassis. 

Sherman: The Sherman Volunteer Fire Department will be moving out of their firehouse and into the town garage on a temporary basis.  The existing fire station is going to be remodeled along with a large addition.  Construction is set to begin this summer and last about a year. 

Berlin: The Berlin Fire Department is set to take delivery of a Pierce pumper which will replace Tac-11 at the 1657 Berlin Turnpike Fire Station.  Should be delivered within the coming weeks. 

Litchfield: The Litchfield Fire Station is currently undergoing an addition to add additional offices and living quarters.  It is supposed to be completed this summer.  In the meantime, one engine has relocated to the town garage on a temporary basis. 

Redding: The Redding Ridge Fire Department is expanding the fire station on Route 107.  They are adding two additional bays to the fire station. 

Oxford: The Riverside Fire Department in Oxford has taken delivery of a new Rescue Truck which is currently being prepared for service. 

Norfolk: The Norfolk has a Seagrave engine on order which is expected to be delivered by July. 

Deep River: The Deep River Fire Department has a new Crimson rescue being built. 

Trumbull: Trumbull Center has a new Crimson Heavy Rescue being built on a Spartan Chassis.  The truck will be assigned to Rescue 100, which the current Rescue 100 Pierce Lance has been sold to a department in Maine.  Delivery is expected early this summer.

Trumbull: Nichols Fire Station #2 will be getting an addition this summer adding additional offices & living quarters space.

Ansonia: The Webster Hose Company has placed an order with Pierce to replace Engine 3.  Delivery is expected for the end of the year. 

Mohegan Sun Casino: The Mohegan Sun Casino has a new Smeal ladder truck on order and is due for delivery at any time. 

Greenwich: The Greenwich Fire Department has taken delivery and recently placed into service a Pierce pumper. 

Milford: Milford Fire has a new canteen truck on order which will replace the current Canteen.  The current Canteen will either be donated or sold.

West Haven: Center District has taken delivery of a 2009 Horton Body on a Freighliner Chassis Ambulance which will be assigned to Rescue 27.  It is expected to be placed in service sometime in May. 

Madison: Madison Hose Company has a 2009 Crimson 3,000 Gallon Tanker on order which is expected to be delivered in November. 

Weston: The Lyons Plain Fire Station is undergoing an extensive overhaul.  Some of the existing building is gone.  Although I have not been able to confirm, as I understand it, they are going to take down the entire building a build a newer modern station which is expected to be done during the summer.  I also understand if needed, Westport Engine-6 from the Coleytown Fire Station may provide coverage for some of Lyons Plain Stations district.

Cheshire: Cheshire has a new Pierce engine on order which is expected to be delivered in early May.

Sikorsky - Stratford: The Sikorsky Aircraft recently placed into service an aircraft crash vehicle.  The vehicle went in service in early 2009.

Wolcott: Wolcott Fire has placed in service a 2008 American LaFrance pumper truck at station #1. 

Bethany: The Bethany Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2008 pumper which is a Gowens-Knight on a Spartan Chassis.  It has extrication equipment, 1000 gallons water tank and 1000' feet of 5" supply hose.  It will be designated as Engine-82 and is expected to go on duty in May.  Update 4/28/09: The new engine is now in service.

Derby: The Hotchkiss Hose Co. 1 has a new pumper being built which is expected to be delivered in July or August.  It will replace the current Pierce that is operating as Engine 14, which will be traded in.  From what I understand, the new truck will be similiar to Engine 13. 

Wallingford: The Wallingford Fire Department is expected to take delivery of two new engines in the coming months.  One truck will be assigned to Engine 2 while the other apparatus will go to Engine 7 at the North Farms Station.

Norwalk: The Royaton Fire Department in Norwalk is currently building a new engine which should be delivered later this year. 

Milford: The Milford Fire Department has a 2008 Smeal Engine on order which is expected to go in service around April 1.  It will be assigned to Four Engine.   

Monroe: A lot is going on in the town of Monroe.  First off, Monroe Ambulance has just taken delivery of a new ambulance which is supposed to go out for some final work next week and should be in service in mid march.  They have another van style ambulance on order which should be in service in the next two or three months.  Monroe Fire has purchased a used crown victoria to be used for transportation to training activities.  They have also purchased a new support vehcile which will go in service in the coming months.  The crew cab pickup still has to be lettered, and prepared for service.  Finally, but certainly not least, Monroe has a new fleet of Sutphen apparatus on order for all three departments (Monroe, Stepney & Stevenson).  Monroe is getting an engine and rescue pumper, Stepney is getting an engine and a ladder truck while Stevenson is getting an engine and a tanker.  All equipment is expected late summer.

Woodbridge: U.S. Tanker was awarded the bid to build a new tanker for the Woodbridge Fire Department.  Also, the department recently took delivery of a heavy rescue expected to go in service in the coming weeks.  It is a 2008 E-One Typhoon Heavy Recue.  Last but certainly not least, after years of efforts to make it happen, the department will move into their new quarters within the next few weeks.  Although no dates have been set, an open house is slated for a March-April timeframe.  The new station is on Center Road near Newton Road across the street from the existing facility. Picture of new station & heavy rescue posted.

New Haven: The new Segrave Tiller that will be assigned to Truck Co. 2 is due to arrive in the city on Monday 2/16/09.  It is expected to go on duty during the midde of March.  It will be a 2008 Seagrave Tiller (TDA).  The current Truck 2 will become a spare piece of apparatus.

Guilford: The Guilford Fire Department has taken delivery of a new 2008 Pierce Heavy Rescue which will be assigned to Rescue 1-9-1. Picture posted

East Haven: Volunteer Co. 1 which operates Rescue 2 from fire headquarters raised funds for a new Rescue 2.  It is currently being lettered, getting radios and warning lights and should be in service within the next month or two.  The early 1980's Ford Rescue 2 has had some issues and is assigned to Rescue 5 as a reserve.  The former Rescue 1 late 1990s Ford Ambulance style is currently Rescue 2.  When the new Rescue 2 arrives, the former Rescue 1 will act as a reserve rescue truck and may become active should the department decide to do transports.  Pictures of the current rescues are on the website and when the new Rescue 2 arrives I will certainly try to get pictures to post.  Update 2/14/09: The new truck has arrived and only the radios are left to install.  When it goes into service, it will be designated Squad 2.  Pictures to be posted soon.

West Haven: The West Shore Fire Department took delivery of a 77' Ferrara Quint assigned to Quint 33 at the end of 2008.  They also have a brand new American LaFrance assigned to Engine 31 which went into service February 10 2009. The plan is the new Engine 31 will be housed at headquarters while Rescue 34, Quint 33 & Engine 32 will go to Benham Hill.  Engine 32 will act as a reserve engine company.

Seymour: Great Hill Fire has a new Crimson Heavy Rescue assigned to Rescue 17.

Bethany: The Bethany Volunteer Fire Department has a new engine on order with Gowens Knight of Watertown, Ct.

Hamden: Hamden has a new piece of apparatus on order that is expected around January 2009 which will be assigned to Squad Co. 1.  I'm unsure of what the manufacturer is as well as what company the current piece assigned to Squad Co. 1 will be reassigned to.  Update 2/8/09: Squad 1 has arrived and is at the shop getting prepared for service.  I understand it looks like it will go in service during the month of March.  The current Squad 1, will be assigned to Engine 5 at Mount Carmel.

Westbrook: The Westbrook Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a new brush truck.

Essex: The Essex Fire Department has taken delivery of a new tanker.

Woodbridge: The town recently accepted bids for a new tanker.
